B.A. in History with a minor in Anthropology from Nazareth College (graduated cum laude, 2009, 3.65 GPA) While in college I was involved in various aspects of campus life, including student government and theater. I was the president of an on-campus club for two years, was a senator for one year, and had various other duties in other organizations on campus.
Experience
I currently tutor SAT/ACT test prep and some subject areas for a professional tutoring company. I tutored Ancient Greek in college and I have experience with editing and essay-writing. I got a 32 on my ACT and a 4 on my AP English exam in high school. My AP course scores were good enough for me to come into college with 12 credits. I love tutoring because it allows me to help students to learn on a one-on-one basis and really focus on their specific needs; I feel that I'm better suited to that sort of teaching than I am to working with a classroom of students all at once. I graduated cum laude and was inducted in Phi Alpha Theta (a history honor society) in college. I also made the Dean's List frequently.
